Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Opening: Accounts Payable Specialist We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team and support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced, professional environment. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices accurately and on time, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Pay: $50,000-$60,000 Key Responsibilities
- Process and code invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Assist with month-end close and audit preparation
- The Accounts Payable Specialist will maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Prior accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist is dependable, organized, and deadline-driven
