Warehouse LeadThe Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, including tool and equipment delivery, returns, repairs, inventory accuracy, and cleanliness. The role supervises assigned warehouse personnel, ensures all equipment is rent ready, and maintains accurate records. The Warehouse Lead supports the Warehouse Operations Manager in ensuring warehouse functions align with BECO's mission of Unburdening Pence Companies and its Partners.To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in a timely manner. The following duties are representative of the job but are not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned as needed.Strategic Planning & Business RecordsPrepare pick tickets for jobsite deliveries and manage check-in/check-out of tools in ToolWatchMaintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and tool retirementsSupport cycle count processes and inventory reconciliationsEnsure repair logs and tool retirement records are kept up to dateCrosstrain across warehouse functions to ensure operational continuityAsset, Procurement & Storage ManagementEnsure all tools and equipment are rent readyOversee tool/equipment maintenance, repair, and retirement processesAssist with managing fleet and equipment repairsMonitor and maintain an orderly and clean shop/yard environmentOversee accurate inventory of warehouse materialsFinancial Oversight & ReportingAssist in ensuring warehouse records align with billing and inventory systemsSupport the Warehouse Operations Manager in documenting damages and repair costsHelp control costs through accurate tracking of tool usage and repairsCustomer & Partner RelationshipsSupport field teams by preparing accurate deliveries and ensuring timely returnsAssist third-party drivers in safe loading/unloading of deliveriesProvide reliable and responsive service to project teamsQualificationsThe following qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the job but are not all inclusive.Self-starter with strong organizational skillsWillingness to learn warehouse and tracking softwareAbility to multitask and work in a team environmentStrong verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructionsAbility to safely load/unload trucks and lift up to 100 lbs. occasionallyCustomer-focused mindset with commitment to safetyPence Values and AttitudesCritical to the success of the Warehouse Lead at Pence, is an understanding of our values.
