Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
• School nursing experience or strong clinical pediatric background
• Public health knowledge and interest in community wellness
• Experience providing 1:1 nursing care (preferred)
• Familiarity with IEP processes and participation in IEP meetings
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt, collaborate, and thrive in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing support to a student, managing ongoing medical needs throughout the school day
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and the student’s care plan
• Support IEP implementation, providing input and attending meetings as needed
• Collaborate closely with educators, school staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Promote a safe, healthy environment and respond to medical emergencies
