Schedule: Full-Time Preferred (Part-Time Candidates Will Be Considered)

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team in Portsmouth, VA for the 2026-2027 school year . This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Position Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist License  required
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Clinical Fellowship Support

• CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision and mentorship will be provided by experienced licensed professionals
