Accounts Payable Intern

This role is office-based in Richfield, Ohio, and requires on-site attendance five days a week. Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities Assist with daily banking and treasury management functions. Administer the accounts payable function by processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records. Apply working knowledge of multiple accounting systems and external platforms to process transactions, generate payment registers, and produce related reports. Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers regarding invoices and payment status, fostering positive relationships with vendors and internal departments. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and all applicable regulations. Assist with month‑end close activities and support internal and external audits by providing documentation and information as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) program from a four‑year college or university. Some college‑level coursework in accounting preferred. Scope of job/qualifications: Possesses advanced organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem‑solving abilities. Demonstrates solid interpersonal and communication skills. Benefits Benefits are limited for interns.
