Regional Director - Cybersecurity | Remote, Northeast

As a Regional Director (RD) at Optiv, you'll lead your team's development to sell more strategic and complex (hardware, software, consulting, services, and financing) multi‑year engagements in the Northeast Strategic Region, building a large sales pipeline that ideally exceeds assigned targets four times to achieve and surpass revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a sales team to sell strategic and complex multi‑year engagements across hardware, software, consulting, services, and financing.
• Build and manage a large sales pipeline, targeting at least four‑times the assigned quota to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
• Develop accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and align the team with Optiv’s Force Management and MEDDICC sales process and performance management framework.
• Ensure client‑engagement strategies align with Optiv’s mission, values, culture and value proposition, fostering employee development and revenue growth.
• Establish and maintain collaborative, mutually beneficial relationships with Optiv’s core and select technology partners and execute joint marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with Services, Client Operations, Human Resources, and the Executive Leadership Team to optimize revenue growth and client satisfaction.
• Identify, refine, and share best sales practices with peer RDs across North America.
• Recruit, coach, and develop top‑notch cybersecurity sales professionals, building a culture of success, collaboration, and business goal achievement.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with regional client executives, positioning Optiv as the primary security solutions provider.
• Act as a partner to client executives, communicating Optiv’s value proposition around security services and technology expertise.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience managing security technology and services sales teams with a track record of multi‑million‑dollar gross‑margin quota attainment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and coach sales professionals, enhance performance, or manage underperformance.
• Strong business acumen and ability to align business goals with cyber‑security risk and complex security technology solutions.
• Executive presence with a proven network of executive relationships to expand client, partner, candidate, and internal connections.
• Proven ability to build and execute territory and strategic account management plans.
• Experience leading cross‑functional dotted‑line teams comprised of sales, technical, and support personnel in a highly effective manner.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience selling complex, multi‑year hardware, software, services, and financing solutions in Fortune 1000 accounts.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, Risk and Compliance markets, competitors, and management consulting services.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $157,000.00 – $213,000.00 per annum. Variable incentive‑based bonus plan may be available.
