Job Summary/Company : 

Sparks Group has partnered with a leading government consulting and technology organization to identify a Recruiting Specialist (Sourcer) for a contract opportunity supporting technical and professional recruiting efforts. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional with experience sourcing IT talent, engaging prospective candidates, and supporting full-cycle recruiters in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

The Recruiting Specialist will focus on identifying and engaging qualified candidates, conducting initial phone screens, maintaining accurate recruiting activity records, and coordinating with recruiters to advance candidates through the hiring process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building candidate relationships and contributing to talent acquisition efforts supporting mission-critical work.

• Proactively source and engage qualified external candidates for technical and professional positions using established recruiting tools and sourcing strategies.
• Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and interest in available opportunities.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates to support current and anticipated hiring needs.
• Partner with full-cycle recruiters to coordinate interviews and facilitate candidate movement through the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sourcing activities, candidate interactions, and recruiting progress within applicant tracking systems.
• Track and report recruiting metrics, including candidate submittals, interviews, offers, and hires.
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates, recruiters, and internal stakeholders across multiple business units.
• Manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and service.
• Adjust sourcing and outreach strategies to meet evolving hiring demands and recruiting goals.

• At least 2 years of recruiting experience, including sourcing and evaluating candidates for high-demand positions.
• At least 2 years of experience recruiting for IT or technical roles.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and document recruiting activity.
• Ability to provide consistent, high-quality recruiting support across multiple teams or business units.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

This job is Hybrid Remote.

Pay Range: Hourly $31.25 to $31.25
