Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring or preterm pregnant patients.
• Confidently circulate and recover C-sections; scrub is not necessary.
• Perform charting and documentation using the Cerner EMR system.
• Titrate medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate as per protocol.
• Collaborate with OB Hospitalists and interdisciplinary teams for optimal care.
• Comply with AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios, ensuring safe assignments.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; willing to wait for license submission.
• Experience with C-sections and proficiency in computer charting, preferably Cerner.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP required.
• Proven ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with a minimum score of 80%.
• Experience in a level II EQ or Level 1 Trauma Center preferred.
• Ability to work four weekend shifts per schedule and two of three major holidays.
