About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive leadership team. The COO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring that the organization's internal operating systems, infrastructure, and governance are robust and aligned with its mission. This role is pivotal in overseeing enterprise operations, including finance, people and culture, and legal/business affairs, with a focus on integrating these functions to support the company's global impact. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in scaling organizations, strong financial acumen, and experience in working with Boards and Board committees. They should be a systems thinker, comfortable in ambiguity, and capable of balancing innovation with operational discipline. Key responsibilities for the COO at the company include leading the design and continuous improvement of the operating model, establishing clear decision rights and performance expectations, and ensuring cross-functional alignment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for strategic planning, execution, and building a culture of ownership and continuous improvement. The role demands a leader with a global mindset, who is mission-driven, and can operate with cultural awareness and perspective. The COO will be expected to be a talent developer, fostering a high-performance, values-driven culture, and will be measured on the scalability and integration of operational systems, financial visibility, and the effectiveness of the HR, finance, and legal functions.
