Records Clerk

Overview We are looking for a Records Clerk to join our growing team. LA Century Law is a firm focused on culture and growth, both individually and as a team. We help those that have been injured and damaged against large insurance companies that do nothing but delay or prevent them from recovering from what was taken. The right candidate will be judged on ability to follow instruction as well as experience and skill. This role is perfect for a candidate that desires to grow in a firm. There is plenty of room to grow and our firm is focused on investing in the growth of all candidates. Responsibilities Request medical records and bills from facilities and doctor offices Update medical treatment notes for files Confirm bill amounts for files Speak with clients to confirm we have all correct providers on file Follow up with any unresolved tickets from requests Confirm we have all liens from providers and follow up with those we don’t Qualifications Experience with Casepeer or other legal software Spanish speaker is a plus Attention to detail A minimum of 6 months of experience in an office environment Ability to work independently and with a team Must be proficient in Outlook and Adobe Prior PC experience required including knowledge of word processing software (Word and Excel preferred) Benefits 401(k) matching Dental insurance Vision Insurance Health insurance Paid time off To apply, please email View email address on click.appcast.io and write in the subject line ‘Candidate for Records Clerk role.’ Then attach your resume to the email.
