Requirements

• Basic life support
• Eaglesoft
• General Dentistry
• Infection Control License
• Licensed dental hygienist
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Current, active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Massachusetts
Clinical competence in dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessment, and radiography
Knowledge of HIPAA and infection control best practices
Reliable, professional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work the specified days (see Work Schedule) and one Saturday per month
Ability to perform duties in-person at the Lexington office

Job Description

Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, periodontal maintenance, and oral health assessments
Take and evaluate radiographs as needed (bitewing, periapical)
Provide patient education on home care and preventive strategies
Document treatments, medical histories, and charting accurately in the practice management system
Adhere to infection control, OSHA and HIPAA regulations and office protocols
Communicate effectively with patients and the dental team to support continuity of care
Assist with patient scheduling and recalls as needed

Shift & Schedule

Currently seeking to add an RDH for Tues, Wed or Thurs, in any combination of those days, and one Saturday a month.
Flexible shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Thursdays (candidate may work any combination of these days)
Required: one Saturday per month
Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM on clinical days; Saturday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (hours may vary slightly)
