### Join Our Dynamic Perinatal Nursing Team!

Job Description:

* Are you passionate about providing exceptional care during some of life's most precious moments?
* We are seeking a skilled Perinatal Nurse to join our team and help deliver outstanding patient experiences in the following areas:
* Deliveries
* Circulating c-sections
* Antepartum patients
* Initial newborn assessments

Shift Details:

* Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
* Weekends: Yes
* On Call: No

Essential Qualifications:

* Current RN License in state of employment or compact
* BLS certification required
* NRP certification required
* ACLS certification required
* Current certification from one of the following:
* AWHONN Intermediate FHM Instructor
* AWHONN Instructor Trainer
* NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred

Nurse to Patient Ratio:

* 1:1 on Pitocin for induction or augmentation
* 1:2 cervical ripening (Cytotec or low dose Pitocin)
* 1:2-3 Antepartum (depending on acuity)
* 1:2-3 Triage
* 1:1 Immediate postpartum (2 hours post-birth for mother & baby)

Responsibilities:

* Deliver nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
* Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Administer medications and treatments following appropriate protocols
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
* Assess learning needs and offer education to patients and families

Dress Code:

* Navy blue or pink scrubs
