Sinai Hospital's Float Pool RN provides direct patient care across the hospital's critical care units, including Women's and Children's units, with assignments varying by shift. This is one of the strongest roles for building versatile, high-acuity nursing skills: instead of a single unit, float pool RNs work across multiple critical care specialties, sharpening clinical judgment against a wider range of patients, diagnoses, and care teams than any one unit offers. It's a role built for adaptable, confident nurses who want broad expertise, and it often comes with a pay differential that rewards that flexibility.

Summary: Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Credentials: Essential: Registered Nurse License

Experience: Essential: 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, Mother & Baby, Pediatrics, Emergency Pediatrics, or PICU

Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 Based On Experience
