The assignment runs through June 2027 and offers a flexible commitment of 10 to 20 hours per week. The role is based at the district office, where direct support from the Special Education Director ensures you have the resources needed for success.

Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Prior experience working in virtual school programs or similar remote educational settings
• Confidence managing and individualizing instruction for students with diverse learning needs
• Adaptability and strong communication skills for coordinating with students and staff onsite
• Ability to provide documentation of qualifications and professional experience

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to a caseload of approximately seven students enrolled in the virtual school program
• Partner with the Special Education Director and other district professionals to develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and timely communication with families
• Utilize technology and online platforms to foster engagement, participation, and learning
• Attend meetings and training as required by the district
