Overview Registered Nurse, Nurse Educator in a surgical center setting Tuba City, Arizona Duration 13 weeks Shift 5x8 Days Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,518–$2,624 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5x8 Days Start date: 10/05/2026 Setting: surgical center Housing: Shared contractor housing only (no pets or family allowed) Responsibilities Lead onboarding and orientation for nursing staff; manage competency validation Facilitate department‑specific educational training and ongoing staff development Oversee compliance with life safety standards and other regulatory requirements Promote and implement evidence‑based practice and, where appropriate, nursing research Mentor clinical staff, support practice transitions, and develop role‑specific education; support student placements Participate in committees such as unit practice councils, risk management, quality improvement, ethics, and infection prevention Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program Licensure: Valid, current, unrestricted RN license to practice in the United States (any state/territory) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association; ANCC Nursing Professional Development (NPD) specialty certification.
