Job Description
Fabricators are an integral part of a manufacturing plant. They are responsible for maintaining neat and orderly work areas with the ability to read and understand blue prints.
Duties
- Read and understand blueprints or other company specific drawings
- Verification of material
- Able to bend and stoop while performing functions
- Press brake operations
- Determine appropriate tools to successfully complete work order
- Maintains quality workmanship
- Reviews fabricated items and performs quality checks of product
- Maintain and perform basic repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- LEAN manufacturing, preferred
- Detail-oriented and consistent
- Works well in a team setting
- Strong in mathematics
- Able to read a tape measure
