Job Description:

Reporting to the DON, the LVN works in conjunction with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and other facility departments to provide optimum individualized nursing care for the residents of the SNF service. All of our Nursing Staff is required to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates a professional behavior consistently.
• Develops and implements individualized patient care plans.
• Performs patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Administers medications and performs treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adherence to safety protocols.
• Participates in emergency resuscitation and emergency response.
• Collaborates with healthcare team members on patient care plans.
• Assists with patient transfers and diagnostic test coordination.
• Participates in the orientation and education of new staff.

Requirements:

• Current CA nursing license with good physical and mental health.
• Current BLS level CPR certification.
• Strong assessment skills and resourcefulness in emergencies.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to walk, bend, lift, and perform manual skills required for patient care.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Reliable, adaptable, and a team player with a history of good attendance.
• Interest in continuing education and self-development.
