RN Case Manager Telephone Advice Nurse - Remote

About This Role

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an RN Case Manager Telephone Advice Nurse to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. This remote role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to make a significant impact on patient care through telephonic support and education.

What You’ll Do
  • Assess and triage immediate health concerns
  • Take in-bound calls and place out-bound calls as dictated by consumer and business needs
  • Manage utilization through education
  • Provide health education and coach consumers on treatment alternatives
  • Support consumers in selection of best physician and facility
  • Coordinate services and referrals to health programs
  • Prepare individuals for physician visits
  • Identify problems or gaps in care offering opportunity for intervention
  • Assist members in sorting through their benefits and making choices
  • Special projects, initiatives, and other job duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Education: Current, unrestricted RN licensure
  • Experience: 3+ years of Clinical RN experience
  • Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in Nevada
