As a Security Officer Full Time Access Operations in Hialeah, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and badge access, and respond to access-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery drivers, and associates by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a retail distribution center, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Control access for employees, contractors, vendors, and commercial vehicles in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
