Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide retail pharmacy coverage in the Cleveland, OH area for a duration of 4 to 6 weeks or until a long-term solution is secured. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care to a diverse population, including Medicare/Medicaid and low-income patients with varying literacy levels.

Location: Cleveland, OH
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 4 to 6 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive retail pharmacy services with an emphasis on patient consultation.
• Support patients managing advanced chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and multiple sclerosis.
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software for daily operations and prescription management.
• Demonstrate compassion and understanding toward patients with low literacy and complex healthcare needs.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain accurate patient records.

Desired Experience:

• Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings with strong patient counseling skills.
• Ability to engage and educate patients in an empathetic manner, particularly those with chronic conditions.
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid patient populations and sensitivity to socioeconomic challenges.
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx software is preferred.
