Ted's is part of the Catalogue Company which operates Federalist Pig, Honeymoon Chicken, Sidekick Bakery, and Kramers.Are you looking to join a great team? The Assistant General Manager position is critical to our operations and success and will assist the General manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant. We are looking for people who can help build a hospitality focused culture for internal and external guests and develop a team of thoughtful leaders.Responsibilities:Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurantManage and lead a team of employees, including training, scheduling, and performance managementEnsure high-quality food and service standards are consistently metMonitor inventory levels and order supplies as neededCollaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely serviceHandle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues in a professional mannerImplement and enforce health and safety regulationsAssist in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitabilityMaintain a clean and organized restaurant environmentExperience:Previous experience in food service management or assistant manager roleStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a teamKnowledge of kitchen management principles and food preparation techniquesExcellent customer service skills with a focus on providing an exceptional dining experienceProven ability to manage shifts effectively, ensuring smooth operations during peak hoursFamiliarity with the food industry trends and best practicesExperience in supervising employees and handling employee-related issuesStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasksWe offer competitive compensation, opportunities for growth within the company, and a positive work environment.
