Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role involves delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered perioperative care for diverse patient populations. Candidates are required to bring their Oklahoma Registered Nurse license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of two years of OR nursing experience.

Job Details:

• Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Registered Nurse (RN) program with a current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license; at least 2 years of operating room experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Additional Information:
  • Responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care specific to the operating room setting, including assessment, patient care planning, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Implements age-specific patient interaction and care, with experience in pediatric, geriatric, and adult populations.
  • Performs head-to-toe assessments and reassessments as per policy, including pain assessment and management.
  • Attends departmental orientation and implements age-specific training.
  • Collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary team members such as RN, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Nurse Assistant (NA), physicians, and ancillary staff.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, thorough knowledge of sterile technique, and a commitment to professional nursing standards.
