Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area, is seeking Shipping and Receiving Associates to join their team! This facility offers a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!

Shipping and Receiving Job Summary:
• Pay: $20.00-$24.84 an hour
• Receive and verify incoming materials
• Compare deliveries against Bills of Material and packing slips
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies
• Prepare materials and completed products for shipment
• Document materials received and shipped
• Prepare and verify Bills of Lading
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Label, stage, and organize incoming and outgoing materials
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records
• Follow all safety and material-handling guidelines

Shipping and Receiving Qualifications:
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material-handling experience is preferred
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely
• Experience preparing shipping documents and Bills of Lading is preferred
• Must be able to read packing slips and Bills of Material
• Must have basic math skills
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Previous overhead crane and rigging experience is preferred
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials as required
