Kitchen Manager

Oversees the daily operations of a restaurant's kitchen, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety standards. They manage staff, coordinate food preparation, monitor inventory, and ensure that meals are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.

As Kitchen Manager at The Tap, you'll run the heart of the restaurant-driving food quality, team development, and smooth daily operations. You'll partner with leadership to keep things fresh, efficient, and consistently great for our guests. What you'll do:
- Lead the kitchen team-hire, train, coach, and build a strong, accountable crew
- Execute and evolve menus with the leadership team, keeping things fresh and on-trend
- Own food quality, consistency, and presentation every shift
- Manage inventory, ordering, and costs to reduce waste and maximize efficiency
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully compliant with health standards
- Improve workflows to keep tickets moving and guests happy
- Support the front of house and step in on guest experience when needed
- 1+ years of kitchen leadership experience (high-volume preferred)
- Strong leadership style-hands-on, motivating, and team-focused
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control
- ServSafe Manager Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
