Student Worker: Professional and Graduate Admissions Assistant

THIS POSITION IS FOR CURRENT MNU STUDENTS ONLYWE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING FEDERAL WORK STUDY STUDENTS AT THIS TIMEOverview:The Professional and Graduate Admissions Office is seeking a high energy student worker who will serve across a variety of roles providing support including phone engagement, admissions support, document management, market research, and event/recruitment support.This is an ideal position for someone who is a strong communicator and enjoys engaging with others.The position is for 10 to 15 hours per week depending on the applicant’s schedule.Job Summary:Assist Admissions Counselors:Make follow up calls to prospective students who have requested information (no cold calling)Provide reminders to incoming students who are finalizing requirementsInput notes and communication history into the CRM systemAssist with marketing researchAssist with Recruitment and Admissions Events:Help prepare materials for eventsProvide reminders and event information to those registered for events.Organize and restock the marketing materials as neededAssist with Partnership Development researchAssist the Office Manager:Monitor incoming calls and re-direct as neededWelcoming walk-in visitorsScan and Upload documentsHelp maintain a clean and organized office environmentQualificationsStrong in both verbal and written communication.Organized and detail oriented.Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.Committed to the Mission & Vision to MNU.Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.Experience working directly with customers, sales, or in customer service (Preferred)Skills & Abilities Gained:Sales and Marketing experienceCustomer ServiceClient Management SystemsCorporate Partnership DevelopmentIncreased knowledge of the organizational structure and business model of higher educationMidAmerica Nazarene University policy prohibits discrimination based on race, gender, age, color, creed, national or ethnic origin, marital status, or disability in the recruitment and admission of students and in the operation of all university programs, activities, and services.Any concerns regarding discrimination based on gender or disability should be addressed to the Human Resources Office. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mid-america Nazarene University
