Business Litigation Attorney (1 yr exp. req)

Business Law Group, in downtown Colorado Springs, seeks a business litigation attorney to support our litigation char. The ideal candidate will have at least one or two years of experience.

*Job Responsibilities:*

You will get the chance to work on complex and significant legal matters. Typical duties and responsibilities:

* Conducting legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis
* Drafting demand letters
* Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
* Compiling, analyzing, and managing initial disclosures and discovery
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating settlement agreements
* Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
* Represent clients in court or before government agencies
* Comply with all legal standards and regulations
* Tracking and entering your billable time
* Handling administrative tasks related to cases
* Billable hour expectation is 1,500 hours per year

*Experience and Requirements:*

* Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
* Admission to the Colorado bar
* Pervious experience in practicing law preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and an ability to drive projects to completion
* Familiarity with various legal documents and litigation practice
* Strong research and writing skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
