Electrician Foreman

Lead and perform electrical work on new construction projects, ensuring safe, high-quality installations and effective coordination of onsite activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on new construction projects in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Lead onsite electrical activities, organizing and directing daily work to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Install, bend, and route electrical conduit to support power and lighting systems, following project specifications and drawings.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and components to identify issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and schematics to plan layout and installation of wiring, conduit, and equipment.
• Ensure proper use of tools, materials, and equipment, and verify that all work meets quality and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with other trades and project stakeholders to coordinate work sequences and minimize conflicts or delays.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting safe work practices and adherence to job site rules and regulations.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience performing electrical work on new construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing effective repairs.
• Ability to bend and install conduit accurately and efficiently.
• Current E1 electrical license.
• Current E2 electrical license.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and code compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead and coordinate onsite electrical work with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience overseeing electrical work on commercial or residential new construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other trades and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of electrical installation.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating tasks and reporting project progress.

Work Environment

This role is based on active construction sites, working primarily with electrical tools, wiring, conduit, panels, and related equipment. You will work hands-on in a field environment that can involve standing, bending, and lifting throughout the day, as well as exposure to typical construction conditions such as varying weather and noise levels. Standard work hours follow typical construction schedules, with a focus on maintaining a safe, organized, and professional job site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwich, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
