Massage Therapist

Grounded Massage Plus is seeking a skilled, dependable Licensed Massage Therapist to join our therapeutic massage practice in Evergreen, Colorado. We are a locally owned practice focused on helping clients reduce pain, improve movement, and feel better in their everyday lives. Our philosophy is that the body works as an interconnected system, so we look beyond the area of discomfort to help identify and address patterns contributing to pain and restriction. This is not a high-volume spa environment. We are looking for a therapist who enjoys therapeutic, results-focused bodywork while still providing a comfortable and welcoming client experience. This is an independent contractor (1099) position with flexible scheduling. We will work with the right therapist to develop a schedule that supports both client demand and the therapist's availability. Because this is an independent-contractor position without a traditional front desk, therapists are also expected to manage the basic client experience surrounding their appointments, including client intake, checkout, rebooking, and basic schedule management. We are especially interested in a therapist who wants to develop a consistent client base and become part of a growing therapeutic practice. Required Current Colorado Massage Therapy License in good standing Professional liability insurance ?l> Strong therapeutic massage and/or deep tissue skills Professional, dependable, and punctual Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable performing client intake and discussing client goals Comfortable checking clients out and encouraging appropriate rebooking Able to manage basic scheduling responsibilities Comfortable working independently as a 1099 independent contractor Client-focused and committed to providing high-quality care Willing to work collaboratively within a therapeutic practice Available for at least one evening and/or one weekend day Preferred 2+ years of professional massage therapy experience Experience working with clients experiencing chronic pain, mobility limitations, muscular tension, or repetitive-use issues Experience with therapeutic or corrective bodywork Additional training in modalities such as: Myofascial release Neuromuscular therapy Trigger point therapy Sports massage Structural or postural bodywork Craniosacral therapy Cupping Lymphatic drainage Other therapeutic specialties The Right Fit We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, self-motivated, coachable, and growth-minded. The ideal therapist understands that building a successful massage practice involves more than providing a great massage. They are comfortable developing relationships with clients, educating clients when appropriate, encouraging rebooking based on client needs, and building a consistent schedule over time.
