Apply knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures, chemicals, equipment, and supplies used in a health care facility. Follow safety practices related to housekeeping duties. Operate manual and powered cleaning equipment. Follow oral and written instructions and schedule. Perform a variety of tasks and tolerate contact with various cleaning products and solutions. Lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform manual labor. Perform cleaning/housekeeping duties in patient occupied areas. Minimum Qualifications Housekeeping experience in a commercial setting. Additional Considerations Knowledge of principles and practice of infection control. Experience in a hospital setting.
