Speech Language Pathologist

Position: Speech Language Pathologist Salary Range: $40 - $50 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join a medium-sized skilled nursing facility. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. This is a full-time position, with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and no weekend rotation. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve patients' communication and swallowing skills Monitor and document patients' progress towards goals and adjust treatment plans accordingly Collaborate with other members of the rehab team to provide comprehensive care to patients Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing abilities Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and incorporate new techniques into practice Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and progress notes Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organizational skills Knowledge of and ability to use various assessment and treatment techniques Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic documentation systems #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
