• Formulate and communicate a clear vision for nursing practices within your area of responsibility.
• Involve supervisory and other staff in setting and accomplishing departmental goals.
• Continually update your knowledge base with the latest evidence-backed clinical and leadership practices.
• Foster a healing and supportive environment for patients, families, and fellow staff members.
• Recognize development needs and facilitate educational opportunities for staff members.
• Set a positive example of professionalism within the nursing field and work atmosphere.

• Knowing nursing practices, follow healthcare laws, and communicate well.
• Quality care, patient focus, and ethical practices are essential.
• Decision-making, resource management, and ethics are crucial skills.

• Bachelor's degree.

• RN licensed.
• You also need Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days on the job.
• Experience: 5 years of total RN experience (2+ years of ED). 2 years of Supervisor (ED or House Supervisor). Manager experience preferred. BSN is required, Masters preferred.
