Revenue Cycle Analyst

This role is pivotal in supporting patient care by managing the financial operations related to collections, denials, and appeals. Responsibilities Serve as a subject-matter expert in denials, appeals, collections, and credit balance reconciliation. Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Monitor key performance indicators such as days in accounts receivable, denial rates, and collection efficiency. Collaborate with billing, coding, registration, and finance teams to streamline workflows and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with payer regulations, HIPAA, and internal policies. Required Skills Strong experience in collections, denial management, appeals, and credit balance reconciliation. Proficiency in analyzing revenue cycle data and developing reports and dashboards. Ability to conduct root cause analysis on claim denials and payment delays. Experience with system upgrades, testing, and implementation of revenue cycle tools.
