We have a mission that matters!Description of WorkThis position is primarily responsible for supervising pharmacy services, programs, and professional staff within the NC Department of Adult Correction Division of Health Services at the Apex Central Pharmacy in compliance with DAC Health and Wellness Policies and Procedures and NC Board of Pharmacy,DEA, DHHS, and State/Federal laws, rules, and regulations. Responsibilities include:Supervision of pharmacist and pharmacy technician supervisor staffsManagement of pharmacy technician staffEvaluation of operations through a quality assurance programAppraisal of staff work performanceEmployee hiring, training, counseling, and scheduling.Accountability of statewide controlled substancesDevelopment of policies and proceduresManagement of inventoryWork assessment and prioritizationMaintenance of workload balancePreparation and evaluation of reportsImplementation of new programs and proceduresMedication dispensingOversight of automated dispensing equipmentCommittee and work group participation.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesSalary Range: $ 97,268.00 - $194,531.00Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required.
