Material Coordinator

Material CoordinatorMercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Material Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Materials Manager. We are seeking an outgoing individual, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast paced, dynamic environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:Must use inhouse computer system for all inventory recordsEstablish inventory records with all necessary dataMaintain accuracy of inventory with regards to physical counts and monetary valueMaintain kanban and min/max systems as directed by customer requestsTimely processing of truth tables, generating requisitions to purchasing through the processSign off on Bill of Materials and Engineering Change Notices (ECN's) and adjust inventory as requiredAssist material clerks as needed with daily job dutiesRun reports through inhouse computer systemKeep management informed by analyzing and summarizing reports and other informationQualifications/Requirements:Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:Highly organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize workA proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels of an organizationHigh levels of basic math accuracyExperience with the following software is required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint)Databases and/or ERP systemsExperience with the following preferred, but not required: Manufacturing companiesElectrical or electronic componentsImport/Export documentation and processesERP software migrationsfilePro databases or Epicor ERPISO, LEAN and ITARMaterials and Inventory systemsForkliftCandidates must have ability to occasionally work extended hoursAbout Mercury Electronics:Mercury Electronics is a contract manufacturer with more than 240 employees and over 76 years of experience producing high quality cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, control panels, electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
