Small Business Lending Specialist

We're seeking a Small Business Specialist who is passionate about helping small businesses succeed and creating greater economic opportunity in Tulsa's Hispanic and underserved communities. This person facilitates access to capital by providing hands-on support and guidance to small business owners and entrepreneurs, helping ensure their success through education and personalized assistance. Why You'll Love Working Here Starting salary of $48,000-$60,000 depending on experience, with opportunities to learn and grow into more responsibility and higher compensation Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Generous paid time off Mission-driven culture where your work directly impacts local businesses, families, and neighborhoods What You'll Do Guide clients through the business loan application for Mi Gente loan Fund, approval, and closing process Review financial documents, conduct credit analysis, and prepare loan recommendations Maintain accurate loan and client records in the DownHome CRM system Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to entrepreneurs Facilitate business workshops and group lending classes Connect clients with resources, funding opportunities, and community partners Build relationships with business owners, banks, community organizations, and stakeholders Prepare reports and ensure compliance with lending requirements You’ll Know You're a Good Fit If… You have 1-3 years of experience in lending, banking, customer service, collections, or administrative support You're organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities You enjoy building relationships and helping others succeed You're comfortable reviewing financial information and maintaining accurate records You're proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel You're mission-driven, culturally responsive, and committed to supporting small business growth Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred Ready to Make an Impact?
