Job Title

OB Technician (SEIU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | Onsite | Call required as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care during labor, delivery, and recovery
• Perform surgical scrub duties in the operating room for obstetrics-related procedures, including cesarean sections
• Assist with patient care before and after surgery
• Perform general unit tasks including room turnover, stocking supplies, assembling charts, answering phones, responding to call lights, obtaining vital signs, and updating census logs
• Maintain acceptable levels of unit supplies

Required Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) — Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor — Required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant clinical setting
• Vaginal delivery experience — Required
• Cesarean section experience — Required
• EPIC electronic health records experience — Required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an OB (Obstetrics) unit strongly preferred
• Surgical Technician or Obstetrical Technician certification preferred
• Associate's or Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
