This position is responsible for developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role partners with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements, support production, and lead initiatives that drive operational excellence.Work Type: Onsite at our Delhi, Iowa facility. This job opening is not eligible for immigration/work visa sponsorship.Shift Timings: 1st ShiftReferral Bonus Available – Employees may be eligible for a referral bonus if their recommendation results in a successful hire.Sign‑On Bonus Available – This position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus, payable to new hires who meet the program's eligibility criteria.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts.Identify and implement improvements in productivity, quality, and safety.Support production teams in troubleshooting process or equipment issues.Lead or support projects involving new equipment, tooling, and process changes.Develop standard work, work instructions, and process documentation.Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams on cross‑functional initiatives.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Knowledge / EducationBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in process or production engineering.Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and project management skills.Proficient in CAD software and ERP systems.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Skills and AbilitiesDetail‑oriented and data‑driven, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.Hands‑on, solutions‑focused engineer with a continuous improvement mindset.Physical RequirementsContinuous standing; repetitive motion of hand/wrist.Ability to lift up to 33 pounds.Intermittent bending, crouching, repetitive motion of elbow/shoulder, and pushing/pulling.Work EnvironmentExposure to typical manufacturing areas and requires use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and sometimes hearing protection.Work environment may include a workstation equipped with a computer as required for the job.Team member must be mobile enough to navigate the manufacturing shop floor safely including walking and standing for up to four hours at a time.Note: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.
