About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have: - Must have experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing - Must have a vehicle for this assignment - Must be able to float to various units based on skill sets Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specialized in Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing. The nurse will be expected to float between units as needed. Weekends will be required, with every other weekend scheduled. The expected patient ratio is 1:4. Previous experience in charge roles is preferred. Experience with telemetry monitoring and central line management is necessary. Additional required skills include managing cardiac and vasoactive drips and insulin administration. Candidates should be familiar with isolation precautions and the use of personal protective equipment. Experience with rapid response and code management is essential. The nurse must possess skills in wound care and early mobilization. A commitment to working three of five specified holidays is required. Successful candidates will be able to manage their assignments with professionalism.
