Financial Analyst 1 - Hospice Location: 433 River Street, Suite 3000, Troy, NY Employment Type: Full time. Shift: Day Shift. Overview The Community Hospice, Inc. is looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join our team. This position will work closely with our home care and pace teams performing accounting and analytical functions. The ideal candidate should have a four‑year degree in accounting or business administration with strong organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Month end Revenue/AR reconciliation between the Epic billing system and general ledger. General ledger review, analytics and reconciliation for balance sheet and income statement accounts. Month end reporting with Corporate Finance team within deadlines set. Reporting of monthly statistics. Annual reporting including cost reports, utilization reports, audits, IRS filings. Overseeing AP to ensure appropriate expense coding and timeliness of processing. Backup to Hospice Foundation Financial Analyst and SNF Billing reconciliation. What You Will Need Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required. 2-3 years of accounting or analyst work in an office environment helpful (this is an in-office position). We are willing to train the right candidate in this sector of health care. Position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Working hours are 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay Range: $25.00 - $39.16 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
