Physician - Hospitalist

Role Overview: We are seeking a Hospitalist to provide comprehensive inpatient care at a main hospital with occasional shifts at a secondary facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daytime rounding, evening admissions, and overnight shifts, managing an average of 14-15 patients per shift
• Handle approximately one admission per rounding shift
• Work shifts including up to 50% night coverage, with scheduling in blocks of 5-7 days
• Provide ICU coverage at a facility with a 4-bed open ICU and 24/7 eICU capabilities; ICU at the main hospital is closed
• Complete approximately 200 shifts annually

Qualifications & Skills

• Active, unrestricted medical license and DEA in Wisconsin
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

Key Duties: Deliver inpatient medical care, manage patient admissions and discharges, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume hospital setting.
