Role Overview

Apply Mandarin language expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world input. Your work will help improve how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required, your Mandarin language expertise is the focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and interpret accurately between Mandarin and English across a range of business contexts.
• Review, edit, and proofread written materials for linguistic quality and cultural relevance.
• Enable clear verbal and written communication among teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Localize documents, presentations, and marketing materials for Mandarin-speaking audiences.
• Partner with team members to maintain consistent messaging and high communication standards.
• Stay current on linguistic trends and relevant industry and regional terminology.
• Serve as a cultural liaison, helping teams navigate cross-cultural nuances and support successful engagement.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Mandarin proficiency, with exceptional written and spoken command.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Demonstrated translation, interpretation, or language-services experience in business or professional settings.
• Strong attention to detail, linguistic accuracy, and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities remotely, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proactive communication style.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting cross-border teams or international business operations.
• Familiarity with technology, finance, or marketing terminology.
• Translation or language-services certification.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $45 to $95 per hour.
