Federal College Work Study Student: Undergrad Research Assistant Agency East Texas A&M University Department Honors Program Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job LocationCommerce, Texas This position offers valuable hands-on experiential learning in academic research and an opportunity to contribute to meaningful scholarly work. Assist with literature reviews by identifying, collecting, and summarizing relevant academic sources and research materials Support data collection efforts Perform data entry, cleaning, and preliminary analysis using appropriate software tools Maintain organized records of research data, notes, and documentation Attend regular team meetings and provide progress updates on assigned tasks Assist with administrative duties related to research projects, such as scheduling, correspondence, and file management This position is hired through the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Collaboration in partnership with various academic departments. All positions are security-sensitive. Must be awarded federal or state work‑study through Financial Aid May work up to 19 hours per week during the semester May work full‑time during breaks and summer if returning in the fall Must not work during scheduled class times Positions are limited to the amount awarded and must follow program guidelines Graduate assistantships offer opportunities to teach, conduct research, or assist in academic departments while continuing your graduate education.
