About the Position

Job Title: RN - PEDS CVOR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital PEDS CVOR RN experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PEDS CVOR RN experience. BLS & ACLS certification. Cardiac / Open Heart surgery experience is required. Description: This position involves working in a pediatric operating room. The unit consists of 8 operating rooms and has a staff of 25. The hours of operation are from 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 but not guaranteed. The role includes managing the operating room, assisting surgeons, monitoring vital signs, and providing pre- and post-operative care. Typical procedures performed include orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, plastics, and cardiac. Candidates with pediatrics experience and CVOR/Cardiac experience are preferred. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for this position. Patient care experience is a priority. Prefer candidates able to function in multiple service lines.
