This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, organization, and independent judgment. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, identifies opportunities for improvement, and provides reliable financial support that promotes accountability, operational efficiency, and the continued success of the business.RequirementsAddresses customers and/or vendors concerns and questions regarding invoices and payments.Maintain general ledgers including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, cash disbursements, journal entries, month-end close and year-endProcess payroll, payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, 1099s, W-2s, and prepare financial statementsPrepare monthly financial statementsPrepare reports and summaries for managementTrack fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedulesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivableMake bank deposits, reconcile bank statementsPrepare quarterly tax filingsOrganize and maintain all documentsMust ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial/reporting filesEnsures 100% compliance with all company policies, guidelines and procedures.Supports and assists team members on as needed basis.Maintains a neat and clean appearance at all times.Requirements3+ years of solid, hands-on bookkeeping experienceBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business preferredProficient with QuickBooksExperience with Microsoft and Google officeMaintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situationsAble to work well independently with diverse clientsSelf-starter who is energetic and flexible.Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.Tobacco-free workplace; adherence to company policy required during working hoursMust pass a drug test and background check
