Savory Chef De PartieWildcraft Baking Company is a small family business in Irvington, NY. Our goal is to make delicious gluten-free baked goods and a savory menu using ingredients from small and local farms. Our business is growing, and we're looking for dynamic, professional team members that can help us with production! We are looking for a savory chef to handle prep and lunch execution and R&D. We have a wide and dynamic menu that will give you lots of room to play. You'll work Mon-Fri 7am-complete, usually about 2/3pm.Our work environment includes:Food providedBeverages providedGood vibesLots of autonomyResponsibilities:Prepare and execute a variety of made-in-advance savory recipesManage inventory and maintain station readinessMaintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, washing dishesFollow all food safety and sanitation guidelines when handling and preparing foodCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfactionQualifications:Previous experience in the food industry as baker or kitchen prep requiredBasic math skills for recipe math calculationsAbility to handle food safely and follow proper food handling proceduresStrong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personalityExcellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectivelyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailWe offer competitive pay rates, flexible scheduling options, and opportunities for career growth within our company.
