Exciting Opportunity for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in General Surgery!

Required Skills:

• CA licensed Nurse Practitioners (ACNP credential) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) with general surgery experience
• Active California medical license and CA DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 weeks on/2 weeks off availability or more
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts (8am-6pm)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in surgical or hospital settings
• Strong clinical documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's Degree in Nursing (NP) or equivalent for PAs
• At least 2 years of recent hospital-based clinical experience in general surgery
• Well-maintained case logs demonstrating surgical exposure

Other Requirements:

• Valid California driver's license and CA DEA registration
• Willingness to adhere to travel policies outlined, including reimbursable and non-reimbursable expenses
• Up-to-date CV with all hospital affiliations uploaded for privileging purposes
• Ability to explain any gaps in clinical activity exceeding 3 months
