Surgery - General Physician Assistant

Location: Santa Rosa, CA Santa Rosa is located in beautiful Sonoma County, known for its world-class wineries, stunning natural landscapes, and proximity to both San Francisco and the Pacific Coast. The facility maintains high standards for patient care and requires extensive credentialing to ensure quality outcomes. Opportunity: Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery, Physician Assistant - General Surgery Job Details: • Coverage Type: Inpatient • No Call • Urgent coverage needed from June 1st to August 31 st though ongoing opportunity • Dates of Need: 3 days a week, 4 weeks a month are needed. Will be flexible on when they can pick up shifts during the week. • Shift Times: 6:30am-4:30pm • Providers won't be in the OR. • PA-C with general surgery experience required • NPs must have ACNP credential and be nationally certified • Must have OR experience and at least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity • Active CA license and CA DEA required • Board certified or board eligible within 3-5 years of residency • BLS and ACLS certifications required Please note the following travel deviations from our contract will apply to the assignment (or current confirmation agreement): NOT reimbursed: o Mileage from provider s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return. o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from provider s home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return. WILL be reimbursed: o Airport parking at provider s departing airport if provider drives themselves to the airport. o Insurance policies for rental cars must be pre-approved, prior to booking, otherwise it will not be reimbursed. o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from destination airport to hotel/lodging for assignment, as well as from lodging to hospital/clinic, and return trips. Compensation: $115/hr with weekly pay and malpractice included.
