Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to understand their physical capabilities, pain levels, and rehabilitation goals.

• Implement individualized therapy sessions that focus on rehabilitation and strengthening exercises tailored to each patient's specific needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and other musculoskeletal issues. Our caseload typically includes 6 to 8 patients per day, allowing for an in-depth approach to each individual's recovery process. We believe in a hands-on approach to rehabilitation, ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention throughout their healing journey.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient rehabilitation environment, specifically focusing on orthopedic and sports therapy.
• Experience with manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programs is highly desirable.
