CNC Machinist

Machinist - 1st ShiftInova Staffing is seeking an experienced Machinist for one of our clients located in Mentor, Ohio! The CNC machinist will be responsible for producing quality components while maintaining accuracy and meeting production standards. Must have prior machining experience.Shift: 1st 7am-3:30pmPay: starting at $26-$35+/hr based on experienceResponsibilities:Operate CNC mill and lathe machines to produce components according to specificationsRead and interpret work orders and project requirementsMonitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within required tolerancesInspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring toolsTroubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivityPerform routine machine maintenance to help minimize downtimeFollow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environmentQualifications:Previous experience as a Machinist in a manufacturing environmentExperience operating CNC mill and/or lathe machinesAbility to use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instrumentsAbility to read and interpret work orders; blueprint and engineering drawing experience is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to work within tight tolerancesGood communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a teamTechnical certification or vocational training in machining is preferred, but not requiredIf you are an experienced Machinist looking for your next opportunity with a growing company, apply today!
