Senior Marketing & Regulatory Counsel

Role Summary As Senior Counsel, you will be a trusted in‑house legal partner to global Marketing and Growth teams, helping shape how the company brings consumer offerings to market worldwide. You’ll provide strategic, practical guidance on global consumer marketing and subscription laws—including product and pricing claims, promotions, and user terms across digital channels and jurisdictions. You will lead the development of scalable global marketing legal frameworks, policies, and reviews that enable fast execution while protecting the company as it grows and evolves. This hybrid position requires occasional travel to one of our office locations in Frisco, TX, Newport Beach, CA, San Jose, CA, or New York, NY, and regular on‑site collaboration, while the rest of the time is remote. Position Details Provide global consumer marketing regulatory guidance, including assessing permissible practices across diverse jurisdictions and advising on international campaign execution—product claims, branding, promotions, subscription terms, and pricing disclosures. Review and approve product claims and substantiation. Lead marketing material reviews of creative assets, website pages, social media, product packaging, and user purchase and subscription flows; design scalable global frameworks and review workflows. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements related to marketing initiatives and related services. Own global marketing legal policies and contribute to the development and delivery of legal training and awareness programs. About You Licensed to practice law; minimum of 7 years of experience with significant marketing, advertising, and regulatory responsibilities at a reputable law firm and/or in‑house role. Deep understanding of global marketing laws and regulations, with high comfort level providing global counseling on consumer marketing and pricing claims. Strong foundation in commercial law, including drafting, negotiating, counseling and problem‑solving a broad range of transactions such as marketing and advertising, influencer and other talent services, consulting services, and partnerships. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Ability to deliver clear, practical legal advice in a fast‑paced environment. Collaboration mindset, approaching stakeholders in a consultative manner. Enjoys being part of a functional legal team embedded within the business.
